I have a 1971 Cuda B5 with a shaker hood. Is the top of the cowl by the venting supposed to be body color or painted flat black? Mine has been stripped and primed so I have no evidence of what it had.
I had an original B7 Cuda with a rallye hood in the 70's and it was body color. I have seen a few shaker cars lately with the black out and wondered if shaker hood requires this to be black. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Roger Gibson, regarded as a Mopar expert, did this restoration on this beautiful 71 Hemi Cuda. No black out on this one.

This Hemi Cuda is considered the most original 71 Cuda on the planet. No blackout here.
