Cut rad opening

Im wanting to cut my rad opening from a 22'' to a 26''. Curious if anyone here has done this how it was done. Thanks in advance

You can replace the panel on the one side of the rad to make it look original
Roseville can supply the panel .

You can cut it but you do have to do some clean up work or you can replace it which takes drilling out all of the spot welds. I have done it both ways, just depends what you want the end result to be. I just did a 69 Ply wagon and I think an E body is similar in that when you cut it out there is a raised part that will remain up at the top that needs to be cut off or it will keep the radiator from sitting flush.

I thought I would give you a visual of the installed piece. The bare metal on the left (right side of the car) is what you are looking for.
