So I got lucky enough to probably get the last defogger motor mounting plate on earth. After speaking to Classic Industries, they think I should be happy with only receiving only one of the two parts. I kinda am, but I need someone to fabricate the other plate now, after paying full price for one of two parts. It's hard to tell from the photo, but does anyone know if the missing plate is just a flat piece of sheet metal with drilled/punched out holes in it? As always, thanks for any input.

Mostly flat with rolled edges along the flat sides; look above the hose and between the speaker & blower. Should be easy to make, if you have to..

I think you can make that! Trace out the pattern from the parts you have.cut out over-sized. you don't need the rolled edge if you can't do it. Make cuts so can fold up and make a few tabs around the outside edge.

I'm gonna try and make one, even of it's a little sketchy. Worst case, I replace it with the correct part when/if someone makes another. Thanks.

You could even make the speaker opening to fit the exact speaker you want to use.

I snagged some nice 6x9 Kenwood's. Yes, I will certainly cut to fit. My neighbor is a pipe fitter for fire sprinkler systems, so I will use some of his expertise (and tools).
