I purchased dot 5 silicone brake fluid years ago from Yearone, it was Quaker Supreme, I removed the master cylinder to get my booster rebuilt and need to bleed the brakes, I don’t see Quaker anywhere on google, now Yearone shows Super dot 5 silicone brake fluid, is it safe to assume I can mix brands as long as it’s dot 5 silicone? I also have access to Johnson brand locally.

Should be fine . Just can’t mix DOT 5 with 3 or 4

Dot 3 & 4 can be mixed , Dot 5 cannot be mixed , you need to fully clean the system if you switch from Dot 3-4 to Dot 5 , I like using Dot 5 as it will not harm paint

Watch out for DOT 5.1 - it is not compatible with DOT 5
Make sure the bottle mentions Silicone.
Why some dummy would come up with that numbering system is beyond me.
