Hey Everyone,

Looking to replace my missing radio for my 1971 Challenger. The option code is R26. According to Ward's this is the rarest radio (of course). Any help in locating one would be appreciated. Willing to restore a good one if need be. So again, this would be an AM radio only, dials not thumbwheels, chrome pushbuttons, with a cassette lead. Thanks in advance. Thanks for reading my ad.

Ok, thanks for the pics. That is a very nice original setup. So this is a 72-74 E body AM with Cassette Lead, with a floor mounted tape deck. This is some good information on floor mounted
Factory cassette player/recorder | Moparts Question and Answer | Moparts Forums
the cassette lead shown is part#
3501107 wiring unit to radio 9 inches E,B Bodies only
for floor mounted it would need part#
3501106 wiring unit to radio 44 inches all Bodies

Hello, again everyone. The above radio is not what I need. I have talked to Greg at Ward's. Here are some pics of a 1971 radio. If anyone has one, or finds one, please let me know. I'll consider any condition.

I had no idea 71 and 72 radios were different, the radio I have came Out of a 71, but obviously not original.

PM me about 11 times and I will take a look through my box of radios. My memory sucks.

I have an original working Am Radio out of my 71 Barracuda. I will look at it tonight and make sure it is the correct one. Shoot me a PM with you info and I'll send you some pictures.
