Engine Poll, you forgot the Slant6 E-bodies. So I wasn’t sure which one to check. Thanks, Al

Kind of hard to decide. In stock form, and nostalgia, the Hemi would be the choice. That said, with newer head designs, better cams, and reasonable priced stroker kits, make for a solid case for the small block. I chose a small block for all those reasons when I had to make the choice for mine. If I could afford a Hemi though, my choice may have been different.

A Hemi is kool there’s no doubt but I think unnecessary in an E body unless of course you’re going drag racing with it so it’s out. My vert is a big block and it does make for a good cruiser if not a little nose heavy so I’m going to say that if I were looking to acquire an old Challenger or Cuda right now I’d be looking for one powered by a 340.
The big block my vert was born with.:)

There is nothing like the sight of those Hemi valve covers filling up the engine compartment going from fender to fender. Of course the performance of the Gen 2 Hemi speaks for it self.
