Hello everybody, recently finished doing some customization to my factory gauges for my standard gauge cluster. Including mounting a tachometer in the first space next to the speedometer, and converting my ammeter to a working voltmeter.

Would love to hear your comments.

The 12.3 that you see is a digital voltmeter that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I was using it to calibrate the voltmeter. It took some time but I was able to retrofit a voltmeter to the back of the ammeter face. I believe it was a sunto volt meter.

That looks exceptionaly clean. Do you have any in progress pics of the tach being fitted? What model did you use? I would like to give that a try because it should be a lot cheaper than a Rally dash.

The tach is the same one that is sold by Classic Industries. I had to cut the mounting plate from the outside of the tach because it's designed to go where the clock would normally be and then made my own mounting plate to fit in the spot next to the speedometer. Here are some pics.

Had to use a donor guage housing to figure it out. Once i worked it out I transplanted everything to my original. The second picture is the back of my a meter converted to a voltmeter. again I had to make a special plate because it goes in the spot where the clock usually mounts.
