Nothing is clogged, when i put a fuel jug on top of the tank it pumps out of that but when i hook it up to the tank i get nothing. Theres a good 2-3 gallons in there and the sending unit isnt clogged. Any ideas on whats wrong? Its a 440 70 challenger.

If it pumps out of a jug but not the tank you would assume there is something wrong with the pick up on the sender.

Cracked/split line, sucking air instead of fuel?
I actually just figured out there's a leak in the tank. It dripped out slowly through a makeshift patch/drain plug the last owner made and evaporated so i didn't notice. I pulled the plug to fill it and i still had like half a gallon in there. Is that enough to reach the fuel pickup?
