Making my dream happening....bought it a couple of months ago just received it , was in storage all those years ( 25+ years ) , 71 cuda : bs23 car , sold my 74 and bought this one... Will take a while to restore but its all there and complete , have 2 other pairs of 71 fenders too , parts of 10 cudas to make one ! Body needs love but since its a car from florida , floors , engine bay and frame rails are intact !

It was sanblasted in the 80s and the owner painted it b5 blue and drove it less than 3-4 years to sandblast it again in the 90s to be restored but he became sick and abandonned the project , car has parts of another 71 cuda that was b5 blue too , doors and fenders

Since the car was to a sandblast / welder , he hated the color , and loved the blue of roadrunners etc , he decided to go with the chrysler b5 blue and painted the car that way after disambling it , all the welds on the car are crazy good , cant barely see the green spots because he decaped all the fj6 before sandblast and amateur resto almost 25-30 years ago, he found that the pink and lime green paint were discusting!!! Got the broadcast sheet in pieces , did a hell of a job to be able to have everything to make the new fender tag , was lost during restoration but b-sheet was in an old book in the man's garage , car was sandblasted underneat and was treated with black paint and grease ( oh the 90s..) , it as a lots of ugly body parts of different colors but i dont mind, the numbers are all matching on body besides engine and other body components its a very personnal project , not for resale.

Thanks a lot , doesnt seem much but its a big deal for me ! # Ag backeast , Brett : they dont mess around if you dont have any documentation authenticity they will not make the fender tag , i was lucky enough to have some parts of the broadcast sheet to prove it.

Nice! I had a 71 340 Cuda in high school and three years ago I bought this BHG car mainly because I wasn't interested in restoring a stock 340 cuda, but also because BS cars are more expensive. I have a 408 and a four speed with some suspension upgrades and four wheel disc brakes. It finally is driveable. I have finally body work and painting and interior to go. Have fun! Rod

I sold this 383-s to fund most of the project and have sold spare parts I have had for years. I have been looking for a good used 71 or later deck lid as my 70 deck lid has a different inner structure that won't allow mounting of a gull wing in the right spot. Do you have a spare deck lid?

Engine will be a 440 , 1968 hp engine , yes the car was originaly a 340 , but want torque and didnt want to spend lots of money. 500+ hp and 550+ ft pounds of torque will be enough for the street !

My 408, not sure of HP. Has EQ heads, roller lifters and rockers, LD340 manifold, 780 holley, hedman shorty headers, reground cam. Feels pretty good so far with only 30 miles on it. I don't know if it will be as strong as my 440+6 I had in my 69. Rod
