Hello everybody I’m Ted, I own a 1970 challenger base model. Not basic anymore , but it’s ageing badly. I’m recently re interested in my old car . sigh it stat in my garage for ( drumroll ) about 20 years now . I have kept it running. With a charged battery it’s still turn key . But the body .
In about 99-2000 I attempted to repair the roof . It kicked my butt . I’m not so bad at welding either, I can do a lot but it had a vinal top that super rusted it out . The more work I did the more it seamed to need . It was tissue paper thin . It sat and at that time a roof panel wasn’t available . I moved on to other things . But I’m back in again. Yesterday I bought both quarters and a roof panel . My wife is very angry. But it’s going to save the car . It’s special to me. So that’s it’s story. Hello Ted

Well, she may not be very joyful now but, when it nice and shiny, she will. I bet like my wife. Same situation (didn’t have the metal work) as mine. Now that’s it done, she says it’s not for sale lol. Hey, look forward to your progress and glad you’re on the site.

And now for the good . It’s got a running 440 . Indy heads , roller cam , dominator carb . Ect .
