I am working on a 73 challenger. I bought a harness off of someone for my rallye dash. Everything matches up perfectly until I get to the bulkhead connector area on the left lower left side under the kick panel. The attached photo shows a large white box with an electrical board inside..
Anyone have any idea what this is or what car it is for?

That's a 74 harness with the seat belt interlock mess.

A mess is right, it is in great shape otherwise

I had a 74 several years ago and I recall that bypassing the mess wasn't a big deal. One of the yellow underhood wires went to the relay instead of the reset button, but you probably don't have any of that in your 73.

It is probably way more hassle that it is worth... even my cut up butchered harness that i currently have will be a better option..

Thanks for the help..

I took out my little box years ago and the new year one harness I have installed didn't have it. Just keep it bypassed and wrapped up
