I've never seen the car drive. I have only seen it parked. It may not drive too well.

Those two cars look outrageous because they are just props used as advertising for the company, with those wheels you have no steerage!
They are trying to hook a glance and judging by the fact that they are getting some traction in a car forum proves that they did a good job.
