The 5.7 is 345 cubes...so i wouldnt pay to only go 5 inches bigger...who really needs 5 extra inches..lot of work and money for little benefit.. If i was to swap id want a 392 or 426...but whos got 20 grnd for brand new ... I can get a 6.4 here in vegas with tranny and harness and throttle wire stuff for around 3500 from a company that does salvage takeouts...hopefully in the end my plan is to have 5 or 6 speed tranny... And a turbo charger..which will bump the power way up...its got the small heads on it now so obviously bigger ones will be in it someday...they do look pretty as hell though.... Seems like a lot of money just so i can put a "HEMI" sticker on it.... Plus i dont think new engines sound the same as old school muscle.....but like we all say... Its yours... Build it the way you want !

There are also companies now that offer complete kits with all the parts needed for the swap

I think Mancini has kits as well as stand alone engine controllers & tranmission controllers
