Im doing quarter panels and wanted to know if it is better to leave the doors on even if they are just the shell and i believe the hinges need to be restored or changed. Or would it be better to weld door supports instead? I was planning on doing subframe connectors and was going to do them on a rotisserie so i planned on welding door supports in anyway. Is there a reason why leaving the doors on would be better?

Not really, I left mine on my Cuda just so I wouldn't have to move them around but they don't offer much in the way of support.

It’s a convertible right? Or a hardtop? Did everything line up before taking the doors off? On my convertible I tacked a support rod at the top of the doorway. My convertible project came with the doors off. So I hung mine just to make sure all was good when mocking up the full quarters. A hardtop should be fine without hanging doors.
