That's an interesting point mopar lee. I know that some cop cars are equipped with high performance gadgetry that allow the vehicle to outperform a standard model. For instance my son used to own a Crown Vic Interceptor which was equipped with this red button that if you pushed, it would take off like a bat out of hell. the police motor-pool mechanic told us all about it. unfortunately, by law they have to disable or remove the high performance equipment before the car is sold to the public.
My point is that; does Dodge also do something to these service cars that would make them to be even faster than a regular SRT? I mean, after all, Hellcats and Demons would be the cars that they have to be able to catch!
