Is there a aftermarket steering box for a 1970 cuda And do they improve steering and handling of the car

First of all, welcome to the forum, please let us know what you have in the welcome wagon section. Now as far a aftermarket box, PST make on that is a stock replacement, or offer a quicker ratio option as well. I'll link it below for your convenience.

There are several, Borgeson (see add on the left of your screen) being one (google is your friend) but if you want it to steer better, just have your box rebuilt by Firm Feel. I like the Stage 3 rebuild but some prefer the stage 2. Combine either with a quick ratio idler and pitman arm and the car will steer very well (quick). These do not necessarily affect the actual handling, for that you need all good bushings, good ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. along with good shocks (Bilstein) and perhaps some heavier torsion bars and front sway bar.

Or try Steer and Gear in Columbus.
They rebuild them and offer enhancements in the same box.
