Hi I’ve been lurking for awhile here, trying to decide what to do with the 70 Challenger I picked up last summer.
I’ve owned my 73 Charger since 1982 and a bunch of other Mopars over the years. I’ve been on FBBO for a couple years.

Anyway, I bought this car this summer. It’s an old race car in really rough shape. If anyone is following the “Things you regret buying” thread on Fbbo, I could put it there. My wife and son both told me not to buy it but I could not resist.
I tried to sell it but no interest since it’s so rough.
So to make a long story short, I am considering get it track worthy and racing it.
Thought I better introduce myself since I’m sure I’ll be needing parts and advice, and may have a few pars to sell.
Thanks for the ad, Paul.

Welcome to the forum Paul! Nice Charger and a great project Challenger. Nice to have you with us here on FEBO. Hope you keep the Challenger, getting harder to find these days. Lots of knowledge here for sure! 😃

Welcome. Nice Charger. Good luck with the project Challenger. Don't give up. My Challenger project took 12-13 years to complete. However, they are actually never finished.

Yes it already has a cage but needs redone.
I’m going to see about getting the back half done with ladder bars.
Mine is caged. Chromoly 25.5 cert to 7.50's and mini tubbed with Caltracs and split mono leafs.

That’s a beautiful car. Must have taken a lot of work!
Thank you. Yes it was. 13 years and way more money than I wanted to spend but it is all the latest and greatest everything minus EFI, which may be next.
