Hey guys,

Today I was removing the carpet from my 71 chally in preparation for installing FATMAT and new carpet. I found the wire that is connected to the light bulb on the floor console that lights up the gear selector indicator. It appears the previous owner forgot to plug it back in. What I dont know is where does the other end plug into? It has a white plastic square housing around a flat male type plug.

Can anyone tell me where the wire connects to the power source under the dash?

Thanks,

that wire should plug in your lamps feed connector [power to dash lights] is your wire color orange? if so there should be a orange connector under the dash. if you find one use a test light to check if you have power when dash lights are on.that should be the only time you have power on connector. im sorry im not much help i have a 74 but you get the ideal.
