Probably because they are almost impossible to order? Trust me, if I could afford it, one would be in my garage but I imagine if I went to one of my local Dodge dealers to get one, they'd laugh me out of the showroom.

Simple supply and demand ... same reason why a HemiCuda will cost you an arm, leg and a couple internal organs now a days ... supply and demand.

Them selling for $160K+ including auction fees at Barrett Jackson last week doesn't help a whole lot either...

One dealership in Florida managed to order 9 Demons. Selling them with a 50 grand mark up. Only one was sold.

Total greed on the part of the dealerships and the bidders at auction houses who will put the car away and sell them later for a profit.
Let them get a few miles on them and you can pick one up much cheaper a year or two from now!

Moparz10 has a point. Here is a dealer selling a new 2018 for 66K.
Weren't these selling for 20K more when they first came to market?
It is listed on the website as being advertised for 64 days and is selling SLOWLY!
Can u believe 2k for an optional satin black painted hood?

Sure wish I could afford one. One with the factory 4X4 Bushwacker fender flare delete. LOL. The only thing I hate about the car is those dumb add fender flares.
