New Rallye wheels from Summit

Thought I’d post for future reference (and to show off).

Before - 245/60 on 14 inch magnums all the way around.

After - 245/60 on back and 235/60 on front. On 15x7 inch rallye wheels 4.25inch back space all the way around.

Got the wheels and center caps from summit. All together it was $525 and was at my front door next day. Very happy with the wheels and center caps. Seem high quality and price was good. I read a lot of negative reviews on the trim rings from summit so if anyone has any suggestions on those I’d love to hear them.

I think it gives it a good stance. It could have been a little more dramatic but I didn’t want anything extreme. Probably could have went with a skinnier tire up front, it almost looks a little too beefy.

On a second note the 14 inch magnums are for sale. I was told they were original on the car and never painted or anything. Two of the tires are almost perfect. The front end was so out of alignment it wore the front two down almost to the belts then when pulling it onto a lift it blew the drivers side front. So two good tires and two bad. Located in north Alabama.

They look great and it seems crazy that the wheels and center caps were only 525 bucks, you cant beat that!
Wheel Vintiques for your trim rings.
And a note on the magnum style road wheels, if they’re originals they’re from ‘67/8 because by ‘69 they were not all chrome and were using trim rings.

I went with aftermarket Superlites (a newer version of Minilites). I was really torn about Rallyes or these. Rod

They are all 15x7 with a four inch backspace (if I remember right). Tires are 255 and 235 60R15's. I ended up replacing all the wheel studs with longer ones due to the thickness of the wheel hubs. The rear studs were 3 inch long ones I cut down and I was able to find longer front studs in the what I remember as 2 inches long.

I like those too. What size are the rims and backspacing front and rear. And what size tires are you running front and rear?

I like the Rallye wheel look also... but a little bigger. Funny how the old looks new again.
