Happy New Year everyone..

Ive traveled around a few forums..mostly for my '68 Corvette..which I was lucky enough to get for my 50th birthday 10 years ago...

She's a beauty..all original and nearly mint..
But..

I always wanted a Cuda..like forever..wife knew it too..
Knew I'd never pull the trigger..So..

She bought me one for my 60th in April.

How about that!

Needs a lot of TLC but runs and drives awesome..interior mostly great..

Wiring...Disaster!

Here's my immediate problem if I could get a little help...

Dash coming out..
Windshield out to help facilitate..
Ordering a bunch of stuff(new under dash harness, etc.)

Its a '72
340
4 speed
with Rally
No A/C
A 01 light option package

I can get the new under dash wiring harness but can't for the life of me find a replacement harness for the A 01 light option..Help?

Thanks for having me on!

Look forward to hearing from you all.

Best..

I can send more pics if anyone wants...

The problem..

I have the wiring schematic for the car..
But there's so many capped/cut/switched/nutted/dead ended/and who knows what that i cant make heads or tails.
I think a to of it is the A01 option wiring but its been so muddled I'm not sure where to start.

I'm trying to find an A01 option diagram.

Thanks all!

Welcome to the site Jimmy from Michigan and nice birthday gift from your wife!
Glad that you got your E-body. Nothing wrong with a little rivalry in the garage 😀.

Looks like someone cut the 8 wire connector off and then used wire nuts to reconnect it. I'd use solder and shrink tubing to repair those wires. Match the wires with the same color codes.
