With the R11 code radio should the rear package tray have holes or not?

It depends. If the car had the R31 rear speaker option (only 1 speaker in R31 with R11 AM) then you had the holes. If no rear speaker then no holes. If the car had the rear speaker option it should also have the fader on the dash.

I rechecked the broadcast sheet and box R31 is blank and no dash fader.
That confirms I get one without holes.
Someone has fitted a set of Pioneer rear speakers at some stage that I will remove.
