Would like a picture of the M31 1970 body belt moldings.
These would be on a convertible and i am not sure I have ever taken notice of the M31 option. Anyone out there?

Hi Josh M31 belt mouldings were standard on Gran coupes and optional on Cuda's according to my 70 salesman's book. I have them on my Cuda I'll send a picture when I can.
They are about 3/4" wide, on top of the doors and quarter panels, seem to be made from aluminum?
I think they were standard on convertibles, I think thats where the top boot clips to if I remember correctly from my 70 Gran coupe rag top I had years ago

Here’s pictures of the M31 option on my Cuda. On the Convertible the piece on the quarter panel was more like chrome pot metal I think, and went all the way around to the other side and I’m pretty sure that’s where the top boot cover clipped on to.
My recollection is of my 70 gran coupe conv. I sold in 1989 and I hope I’m correct

I have M31 belt trim on my 71 Challenger. I’m looking for the passenger door top molding for some time now. Have all the rest of the pieces. Any help is greatly appreciated

I think this is the piece you are asking about: 70 Cuda convertible casted chromed top of quarter belt molding. | Roseville Moparts

This replaces the hardtop's rear 1/4 belt molding as 704406 picture shows.
My understanding is the belt molding was popular on Cuda verts, but not Challengers. The above convertible rear 1/4 moldings for Cuda are available in the aftermarket. The ones for Challengers are unobtainium and are very expensive when pieces come to market.

My 71 Challenger is a hardtop, M31 code. Trying to find the passenger door molding trim. Pictured are both doors, driver side is good and both quarters. Thanks

He also sells little screws that can be used to replace the studs. I ended up using 5 of those as a few of mine were rusted down in size.
I assume those stud screws will work for windshield and back window trim but have not tested that yet.

I think there’s two of the screw on each door trim with 3 pin clips on each door and of course two pin clips on each 1/4 trim
