I'm replacing the rim blow switch in my '70 Challenger. The old switch was replaced by the previous owner with a button in the center pad. The old rim blow rubber was mostly gone including the copper contacts ripped out. The tab that connects the switch to the wire coming up the steering column was still there. There was a short piece of wire left connected to this tab.
I'm sure the wire connected to the tab will run to one of the rim blow switch copper strips.
I'm unsure how the other copper strip is made to contact the wheel spoke. All this should happen under the plastic cover that is mounted with a single screw at the end of one of the spokes. Can anyone post a close up picture of the wheel spoke with this cover removed? Or explain in detail how the copper strip contacts the wheel spoke?
Thanks, Jim
