Shaker highs

This has been bothering me for a long time. I bought my car in 1980 with the current 440/6 shaker setup. This is a 340 car and looking at others I noticed my shaker seems higher than normal. The look is fine but t has hit the hood occasionally. I’ve had other motor mounts but always has been the same height. Is this a motor mounts issue or maybe a replaced K member? Your thoughts are appreciated.

From your 1st 2 picts it looks a little high.
Maybe an intake change caused it?
You could have worn motor mounts also causing it to move more than the space allowed.
I know at startup the engine will move more than when warm. Probably when the damage happened

I assume they were designed with a certain manifold and carb. Are you using the stock setup?
