I’m trying to find a part the goes from the center outside of the wheel well up and over to the inside top edge of the front fender. When I search it shows inner fender brackets Here’s a pic. Not mine just borrowed from the web. Circle in red with an arrow.

That is part of the fender, not a separate piece.
If I remember correctly!

Might be something I will have to fabricate then. I can’t justify buying a fender for just that little piece

Of course not.
Hang tough for a bit, let's confirm that by a couple of members.
And another thing, yeah fabricate things, it's a great feeling. Gives you a sense of freedom.

I think I have seen them on 73/74 challengers,
Not quite sure if other years had them too.

My challenger is a 74 but has 70 fenders so I’m sure it’s supposed to be there on all of them. Driver side intact. Pass side missing. I also have a rotten 74 out back that has them. But pretty rusty.

Repro 70 AMD's don't have the brackets, of course that doesn't prove that OEM didn't.

Well, I have to tell you, some safety features were added to these cars (as per Dot regulations or simply because of common sense) in 73 and more in 74.
the steel reinforcement for the bumpers for instance,
The shape of bumper to frame brackets is another, the beloved truck size rubber bumper guards......
Safety wise, the 70/71s were deficient in some areas.

My 70 Challenger has them on and I don’t believe they are reproduced. Cudas don’t have them.

Find someone selling a rotten fender with the brace and use it.
Or use one off of your rotten car if you don't mind making it less complete.
Carlisle is coming up, probably find one there.

I have not got this on my 71 Cuda. I know what I have got is a R/H passenger side door glass shattered. I have just fitted central locking and electric windows and now need new glass. Not a happy chap at the moment. Any suggestions for new glass.
