my 70 challenger has a Pioneer KP-8005 cassette stereo (1979?) and an equalizer installed with some Sanyo 6x9 speakers in the back and a single 4x10 in the dash that has had better days. i will be upgrading the system with new Kicker speakers (same sizes). i plan to keep the 3 speaker system but the stereo must go. i'm looking into a Custom Autosound for the stock look because i want to avoid cutting the dash to fit a new stereo receiver but i'm not against it. i'm still waiting for a quote on the Custom Autosound but i think they are around $600+. Because of the cost, I'm looking at an alternative, an Alpine UTE-73BT digital media receiver or similar. Anyone have any experience with custom autosound or the Alpine?
what other setups are you guys running?

Thanks for the feedback.

I don' think you should need to mod the dash. If that face plate is stock and only has the cut out for the two knobs and the center section you can get a new one that's full open for $60.
YearOne - Part: RB71

Here's the dash in my cuda without the radio or bezel (my 71 challenger is the same) and then with an Alpine installed
