T/A and AAR Hood paint

Hey guys,

I am putting a T/A good on my Challenger. My question is on the real T/As was the underneath of the hood painted with the same flat black textured paint or was it just a smooth flat black?

Hey there - I just inspected my original T/A hood and found that the underside does not appear to be painted with the Organisol like the top surface. The underside of the hood is rough though due to the fiberglass but the paint has a completely different texture than the top. Hope this helps and Happy New Year...

My original T/A hood is the same as Grady Cain. Organisol on top, and the underside is rough fiberglass with a similar hue, but different texture paint.
