Tail Lamp Light Panel Brackets

Can someone clarify for me where exactly these brackets go on the rear of a 72 Challenger? I looked in the trunk area of my car and for the life of me I do not see any brackets that resemble these. Are they not present on all models?

They look like the supports that go behind the rear valance.

They were used on 70s and some 71s. These brackets were replaced with the welded center bracket.

Correct non 72. You should have the large metal bracket in the center of your rear valance. It is welded into place by the factory.
