Tail panel corner brackets

I forgot to include this in my previous post. Do the tail panel brackets go on the outside of the tail panel as in the pic ...or so they go on the inside of the panel?

I have a 70 Cuda with the factory tail panel intact but your pictures are so close up I can't really tell what I'm looking at to give any advice.

Thanks but that's okay it's all welded in place now.
