Hello, could anyone tell me if my 70 Challenger 440 six-pack, 4 speed, 3.54 Dana have been ordered with 14" steel wheels with poverty caps or only E70 15 also would the caps have been aluminum or stainless. Thanks for the help.

Well I am not 100% but I would say yes, they came with F70-14 standard but Mopar was famous for allowing customers to order almost anything.

Thanks, I forgot to mention it has a shim only under the left side lower control arm bumper someone mentioned to me that the shim was usually 15" wheels.

I assume you don't have the build sheet? It would tell you what it came with.

That is correct I talked to the original owner of the car he said he ordered the cheapest wheels, because he was putting aluminum slots on the car.

So you are questioning the guys honesty ? And it was E60-15 as optional. The tire size doesn't signify the rim type, only the size.
14 X 6 standard or 15 X 7 optional.
Less than 2/10" inch difference in total diameter. That means less than 1/10" actual height difference. The axles centerline splits any diameter difference.

No I'm not questioning him he remembered they were steel he just couldn't remember the size. Do you happen to know if the caps would be aluminum or stainless. Thanks for any info.
