Valve cover gaskets

I have a 73 340 cuda that needs new valve cover gaskets.

Whats the best to use and do you use gasket sealer

I prefer to use the rubber ones w/o the sealer. They can be pulled off at any time and go back on with minimal tightening for a good seal. Make sure your valve covers are straight especially around the bolt holes if they are steel.

Both are great recommendations. I was young back in the day and could only afford the cork style but learned the hard way to not coat both sides. Slippery buggers and tend to move when tightening bolts.
