Do you have a non-working switch? If so you may be able to swap some parts with a 78-79 Volare defrost switch on EBay for $35. right now..

Both have 3 prongs so the guts might be the same, low speed / high speed. Or the plastic lever on the e body switch might be removable and swapped onto the Volare switch.
