This fell out of the quarter when I cut the lower part of the trunk extension.
Small bracket about an 1 3/4 in long by 1 in wide in the shape of J
Anyone know what it is?

That is a 67-69 Camaro bottom of the windshield molding clip, goes under the front fender at the top of the hinge pillar

Wow. Thanks Moparparts for the response.
Would not have thought that in a million years.
I once owned a 69 Camaro SS 396 hardtop 4sp that I bought from the original owner. When I bought my first house in the early 1980's. I kept the A66 Challenger vert and sold the Camaro to help with the down payment.
I did have the windshield out on the Camaro to fix minor dash rust. Must have been a part from the past; sitting in my quarter panel of the Challenger all those years.

I'm impressed as well to see such an accurate (and confirmed) answer. We found us a library source for all unknown foreign objects left in totally odd places. All I ever found was some change, beer cans, and once a pot pipe in the Cuda's I've owned.
