window trim

what are the two tabs for on the side window seal trim? and do you but the sticky side of the seal tap on the body or the trim?? and should it go close to the inside or outside edge??

If you test fit the trim into place you will see the small mounting holes...

Hard to tell from your pics, but if you mock up the trim and the window channel together on the car, you will see how they go together, and where the seal tape needs to be.
