The following link contains lots of old drag race photos from the 60s and 70s at our former drag strip located east of Winnipeg, MB. Back in the match race days, lots of well known cars ran at the track. As a kid, I remember Mike Fons (with the Motown Missile Cuda), Irv Beringhaus, John Hagen, Warren Johnson (with his outlaw big block cars when they were illegal in NHRA), Joe Satmary, Gary Hultgren (I was at the top end when he crashed in front of me), Gary Beck, Jerry Ruth, Tom Hoover, Roland Leong, Judy Lilly.

Great site...

Many..many trips out to Keystone and Bison for me...just loved the sound of the old B and C/MP cars singing in high C on the valve springs no rev limiters back in the day just the valve springs. LOL

Yeah...........I remember a few flying apart too.........had some pretty nasty failures at the Valley (northeast)........Cool days.
