Hey anyone have pic's of your inner quarters / trunk areas?, I'm looking to duplicate the factory undercoating patterning for a 70 cuda. I recently had a customer bring in some n.o.s 70 charger quarters to get undercoated. And now he has requested to do the same for his 70 cuda build. However I don't have many clear pictures of examples to go off.

This is a 1971 BH SPD of 909

Note the double spray on the drivers side.
You can see two lines where they apparently moved their pattern board a few inches closer to the rear side light housing.

Restorick used to have pictures on his website showing this. I just checked and get a 404 error at his link to the tech archive. I recall the pictures showing a cardboard mask that he applied first then sprayed it out.

Here is a random picture I have on my computer. Not sure where it came from or who posted it originally.

I did my undercoating on the quarters while they were off the car. I believe it was for sound deadening purposes. Replicated fairly closely, at least around the marker openings, I might have done more than the factory did, but I figured it couldn't hurt.

I too believe the interior coating is for sound vs rust.
