so I have a 1972 cuda 440 that I am in the process of building currently not in my possession 6 bolt pattern on crank, it has a 727 torqueflight Auto trans. but no flex plate my question is can someone please help me decipher the code on my block and tell me what year block it is if the crank is forged or cast, internally or externally balanced and what does the 3 numbers at the bottom mean? according to the pic 440 maltese cross X . block stamp is 2536430-8 not sure what the 8 means. 11802046_1636606143248356_834771596_n.jpgPART_1438354435529_20150731_095255.jpg​thank you .

Any crank could be in the motor if it has been rebuilt. Need a pic of the crank.

You have a 1970 440. It should have a forged crank. The crank was .010 under from the factory.
