replaced the coil, rotor, cap, plugs and wires and the car ran 100% better since i finally got it running. went out this morning and pumped the gas peddle 6 times before turning it over and, (i was told this was the way to get the old girl running) and it cranks but will not run or even cough...

well, it turns out that my gear box is shot. I'd love to order the FF box, but all the shipping and the cost of the unit is too high for me right now. NAPA has a reman unit for $130.00. Anyone have an opinion on NAPA products? it has a limited lifetime warranty.

My cuda has the column shift and I want to switch it to a floor console. How hard is this to do ? how much should all the used parts cost?

Do i need to add anyhting to my oil or gas to make my '72 cuda 340 run better? I hear new oil doesn't contain zinc and is rough on the cam and that lead additive keeps the engine from getting too hot. Any merit to those items?
