That's a great looking ride. What motor did it originally have and what did you upgrade to? I'm rebuilding my 360 now and considering stroking it to a 408.

Sounds exactly like my '71 - originally a 318, currently has a 360 and I'm rebuilding and stroking it to a 408. Let me know how the new TVS works out.

That is one nice bracket! I'm also moving my battery to the trunk. I love the clean, simple look of just the motor.

How is the braking with no power brakes ? Do you have a fan shroud or an electric fan planned for the future ?

Nice and clean, the car and the tools. That's one long tool box ! (several stacked next to each other with a common top plate )

Planning for Electric Fans...I've Measured my '08 system...It will fit prefectly so I plan on ordering that part number. I have the elctrical for the fans already setup...and I run one for
my AC condensor now. I'm working the bakes now...Fronts are already 4 piston SSBC's....and I have the parts to finish off the back now......I'm just waffling between the Vac or Hydro
boost systems......

I went hydro-boost awhile ago as part of my cars turbo transition. Works very good and would not think twice about it again on another project.
Virtually no mystery to it. I have a build on here that shows some of the details.
It basically gets spliced in between the P/S pump and the gear box with an additional drain line that "T"s into the existing return line.

Hydro-boost is the way. Consistent braking no matter what the vacuum is.

I notice your car was already sitting low (or at least it looked that way in the pic). I would be curious what effect this has on the height with your new springs and shocks.

I'll let you know....I hope I pick up about 3/4" higher in the rear than with the Mopar Performance springs that were on the car.....To me.....It looked as though they were
De-Arcked. I set the rear's in the Highest position on the Front sping perches...If too high....I have another position I can use. The Hotchkis Torsion bars should be sweet!!
they say that with them installed...You can not get to the factory ride height...so that should be perfect for me....I'm looking to gain 1/2" from where I was before the swap.
