Putting my challenger up for sale, I barely get to drive it and the family property with the heated barn has sold, so no place to keep it this winter.
Originally a plum crazy with white vinyl top and interior, 318 3 speed manual car. The floors and rockers were mint when i bought it in 2015, so thinking i only need the dutch panel and trunk floor replaced i bought it. Once we got the trunk floor out we could see the driver side 1/4 had been replace before and poorly. So, drivers 1/4 is new AMD replacement along with the trunk floor, dutch panel and the 2 a pillars. I didn't go with a new vinyl top as I don't really like that look. i did keep the trim pieces that go with the vinyl roof. Dash pad was in really good shape to reuse, I found a set of Rally guages and had them rebuilt with the quartz movement clock. New power front discs were installed with the booster. RT hood, tail panel and exhaust tips. The engine is a 1970 date code 340 tanked and rebuilt 30 over by a local shop, the intake is a real 1970 T/A date code 6 pack set up running rebuilt carbs and pods. The transmission is a 1973 (i think) 833 all rebuilt and the rear end is all rebuilt 489 case 3.55 posi. New aluminum radiator, mini lite wheels, new tires and gas tank. Front fenders doors and roof are all original or older faded paint, my body guy matched the paint and blended the drivers 1/4. The car is a patinaed look with the original chrome and shiny bits patinaed also. New floor carpet and front seat belts installed but the rest of the interior is original, no headliner. I honestly spent so much on the car, repairs, motor, trans, etc. I didn't want to spend a ton more on paint, chrome and interior. Take it to the next level or drive and enjoy as it is. The maiden voyage was October 2019 but I've probably only put 400-500 miles on it. It's a blast to drive with good power, i just don't have time so someone else can enjoy it. I have the original 318, radiator, non-rally gauges and other bits and pieces. $38,500 or best offer
