71 Cuda vinyl top trim

I have a 71 Cuda that I bought that had been restored by the previous owner. It has a vinyl top on it. I've noticed that the chrome trim from the bottom of the vinyl top does not end at the chrome drip rail on the roof (there is about a 1/2" spacing). Do I have the right vinyl top trim or is it from another year/model?
