challenger emblem on fender?

Just need you guys and ladies to straighten me out on the challenger front fender emblem. Dodge never put it on the 74 fender correct? Was this only on the 73 challengers? Thanks Dave

I don't see one in the sales literature on any 72-74 front fender. All of them have the Challenger emblem on the quarter panels. It is on 70 and 71 front fenders.

Yes, that is correct. In 72-74 there is a Challenger emblem in the grill and on each quarter panel. Then the hood and tail panel say D O D G E. I believe 72 is the last year for the corporate logo on the bottom of the PS front fender. 73 and 74 didn't get one.

It's centered above the side marker. I think I have mine placed a little too far down. It would probably be more correct if it was placed an inch higher.

Thanks guys ,I have no emblems on my quarter panels. Dont know if I want them on there.

If I was building a non stock car, I would have left them off. I liked the clean look of no quarter panel emblems and no hood DODGE letters.
