I have two engine big blocks for sale.
The first engine block is a 440 HP short block (depicted below).
1974 date coded 440 HP engine block. The engine block has been magnafluxed to verify no cracks. The block was cleaned and bored 0.30 over, so all machine work has been completed and ready for assembly. The casting numbers on the 440 engine block are 4006630-440. The casting date is 9-23-74. Also included with the engine block are the main caps and crank.
I have two engines that I no longer have use for.
The second engine is a 383 long block (system would only allow one pic - send me a message and I will email you pics).
1971 383 (date code: 11-2-70) long block engine assembly.
Casting number for the engine block: 24681301, which is the same block for 1969-1971
Casting number on the heads: 3462346 (part number: 3462344), which are the same heads for 1971-1972 383, 400 or 440 - open chamber heads
Would prefer to sell the entire engine assembly, but will consider selling the heads separate.
