Just installed new 440 in my challenger this morning.
The pipes are TTI 1 7/8" primaries.
The fit on the driver's side appears fine.
The RHS however is very close to the inner guard.
It looks like if I could move the engine to the left about 1/4" the fit would be OK.
Now what i want to know is it possible the engine mounts are wrong way round or something? They were marked when it came apart but that is not to say they were correct originally.
Anyone had this issue before or got any ideas?

Apparently quality control(or lack thereof) on the original building of the K-frame.
TTI gives dimensions from each frame rail and top of the Kframe to where the crank centreline SHOULD be.
Apparently some are OK.Some are not.Mine fell into the latter category.
Solution is to smim, slot holes, whatever is necessary to get the ccrank centerline where it should be.
I put a 10mm shim between the RHS steel bracket and rubber insulator which set my CL 2mm too far to the left and 1.6mm too high.
When the crank centerline is set right it's amazing just howperfect and neat the pipes fit!!!
