71 cuda Windshield Trim Clip Help

Have a 71 cuda I am restoring. I have the Front and Rear Windshield trim but there are no clip studs in the front windshield anrea and only a few on the top of the rear glass area. Does anyone know where the clips go? There has been some prior rebuilds and I would have to grind down the primer and look for where the factory mount were. Is this the only option?

You can pretty much guess. That's what i did on my 72 cuda. Just don't put them too close to the radius's, keep them on the straight area. I have some of the replacement screw-in clip studs.
