Just some thoughts; if you have known the guy/car for years, I would clear the stuff hiding the car and do a thorough inspection. Inventory what is there and what comes with the car. This will give you an indication of value. Parts and repair of parts really costs. Specifically look for that...

You are correct; I needed the missing the torque shaft assembly with the bracket that attaches to the frame. I am still short of having the column lock rear rod though.
In Vicious' case, I thought he was referring to the rear torque shaft bracket that attaches to the trans by e column...

Thank you all for your thoughts. I ended up buying the felt paper pad from Detroit Muscle; closer to the original. Lee, good point about condensation even occurring inside the trunk.:thumbsup:
