74 Challenger. No sheetmetal to be harmed and adding twins

Still no video of it running (or pulls). Still early stages of driving and tuning. Hit a local (Socal) meet and survived the crowd. Simply feels good to be driving it again after ~3 years.

    WTB 74 cuda dash frame

FYI All year frames for ebodies are identical except 1 speaker or 3 speaker versions. All have a/c openings. Just went thru this with mine. This is a 1 speaker dash. 3 speaker is cut out between the 2 holes shown.

74 Challenger. No sheetmetal to be harmed and adding twins

Got frustrated with inability to navigate the site when they changed format. No videos taken as I got too excited to have proper brain function. Soon again though.

74 Challenger. No sheetmetal to be harmed and adding twins

9 years later from this forum... Built and sold an entire project in between. Still have it. Still working the turbo build. Now running on MS3X. Recently finished the final piece of ductwork. Frame connectors added, new exhaust, new fuel system and a myriad of other details. Cleaning up wiring...

That was my other thought to check the lid and make sure it is flat on the sealing surface.

    '73 Challenger Rallye Restoration

I had a problem a couple of years ago on a replacement master. It ended up being a small seep type leak out of the lid clip hole in the back of the housing. Just a thought...

Thanks for the details. Their use of Mustang controls is basically what sold me on it. Most likely will go Vintage on Challenger. Ya didn't erase my bad taste in Classic. Again thanks for the insight. Mike.

Bill, How was your overall impression on the classic install? I used them a few years ago with my 68 Mustang and literally had to modify every motor bracket and heat up and re-form under dash plenum and hose connections. Thanks, BTW looks great as usual. Mike

Well heck if you and Leo can spare a few minutes I would like to see it. I am just a bit down the freeway from Leo. Even if all I get is to look at it in a parking lot while you have dinner. lol Mike
