    I am putting a heat shield sleeve over it , I know its not proper but I really dont feel like changing the pump right now , next winter...

    See factory specs below. Looks like just 5/16" goes in the head. So you're good with what you have!

    Have these ARP 200-7620 studs , is that it all needs to go into the head , looks short , also have MP valve covers , any loctite.
