Dana 60 to 8 3/4 Rear swap question

If I may ask, why would you go from a Dana 60 to the 8.75? I am considering going the other way. Other than putting a car back to it's original state, is there some big disadvantage to the Dana 60? Not bashing anyone, just curious to know so I won't make a mistake I may regret later. Thanks...

    Best wiring harness

All, I am looking for a complete wiring harness for my '71 Challenger. Who makes the best, complete wiring harness. I heard Painless is great, but they do not show a harness available of the Challenger on their website. Any recommendations? Thank you !!!

    Hello from Alaska

Here are a couple of pics of my Challenger. Original 318 car, but no engine or tranny in it. Plan on building it as an RT Tribute car, with a 440/727.

    Hello from Alaska

Hello all! New member here from Alaska. Just purchased a 71 Challenger rolling chassis. I joined this group to learn and understand more about my car, and the process or rebuilding it. I will have plenty of questions for all of you during the build process !! Thanks in advance !!
